Multi-certified plywood, a guarantee of confidence

All the certifications of NP ROLPIN plywood are accessible to all, in all transparency. Proof of our commitment to quality, they provide you with reliable and independent information. Discover them.

Quality certifications: a high level of requirement

European and French standards classify the types of plywood panels. According to their technical characteristics, they are associated with a class of use defined according to the expected performance requirements.

The certifications of NP ROLPIN plywood are the result of a policy of actions carried out for a long time by the company. They result from choices made upstream, during the manufacture of products. These choices concern the quality of the gluing, the choice of the species, the composition of the panels, the final aspect of the faces.

NP ROLPIN panels meet the requirements of CE marking, the European standard NF EN 636-3 and the French quality mark NF Extérieur CTB-X.

Thus, NP ROLPIN panels can withstand prolonged exposure to water and weather. Their bonding also complies with class 3 of the European standard NF EN 314-2 (outdoor exposure, not in contact with the ground).

The standard indicates – in addition to a certain tolerance on dimensions – the requirements to be met in terms of authorized species, quality of veneers and gluing, expected mechanical behavior, VOC emissions (Volatile Organic Compounds) and formaldehyde release.

Health certifications: a healthy plywood for the interior

Unlike some processed wood products, NP ROLPIN plywood meets strict indoor air quality standards.

NP ROLPIN certifies a level of formaldehyde emissions A+, according to the French labeling standard and E1 according to the European classification.

To go even further, NP ROLPIN panels glued with phenolic resin comply with the requirements of the Japanese class F****, which is even more stringent than the European standard.

Tested by FCBA, the level of formaldehyde emissions obtained is 0.02 mg/l of air, well below the recommendations of the Japanese standard, set at a threshold < 0.3 mg/l.

NP ROLPIN is also committed to protecting human health and the environment. It applies the European regulation REACH (Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals).

It is responsible, among other things, for providing safety information on the chemical elements contained in its panels. All the links in its activity chain, from production to the end customer, have access to the same level of information.

An environmental commitment to preserve the resource

All the products proposed by NP ROLPIN are under PEFC mark (10-34-71). Controls are carried out every year by certified and independent organizations to attest the use of wood whose origin is traced.

The wood marked PEFC comes from sustainably managed forests, which helps maintain biodiversity. The balance between withdrawal and renewal of the resource is thus fully assured. The company also participates in tree planting campaigns to compensate for forest harvesting.

NP ROLPIN takes real commitments to preserve the resource as well as the populations and men who depend on it.
